Novena to St. Ignatius of Loyola – 2025
Note: As Jesuits of South Asia we are in the process of Imagination and Restructuring, and this year’s novena is prepared keeping in mind this process. Renewal of life-mission is the heart of this RR process where we seek change, primarily in ourselves. And lating change can happen in prayer and so we approach this novena with the deep desire to change and be renewed.
Every day, the novena could begin with a hymn. The theme for each day is arranged keeping in mind the highlights of the RR process. The opening prayer and concluding prayer are the same throughout the days of the novena. Some intercessory prayers are already included, and more prayers could be added by the members of the community as per the need.
May St Ignatius inspire us all to be pilgrims, ever in search!

In his closing statement on the UN June Climate Meetings (SB64), the Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC noted that, while important progress was made on the Just Transition Work Programme, the conference concluded without delivering the necessary advances on adaptation and mitigation.
The SB64 negotiations in Bonn concluded without reaching consensus on the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA). According to a report published by the Climate Action Network (CAN), the group of developing countries, including the Africa Group of Nations, did not support the final draft decision due to the omission of a commitment to triple adaptation finance.
