From 26 to 30 June, the members of the SJES will gather in Rome for their annual meeting for the 2022-2023 pastoral year.

As the canonical part of the Congregation begins, further discussion of key themes chosen by Fr. General will take place. In some weeks, Fr. General will publish the definitive version of his text based on this intense process of discernment in common. De Statu Societatis, revised after the Congregation of Procurators, will be shared with the whole Society as a renewed call to go forward on its journey of conversion.

Illness is part of our human condition. Yet, it can become inhumane if an illness is experienced in isolation and abandonment, unaccompanied by care and compassion.

The official launch of the Jesuit social centres map begins at 14:30 CET on Friday, 3 February 2023, via Zoom. Invited are Jesuits and mission partners. Conversations will be in English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation. Registration isrequired; the deadline is 31 January (refer to the link below).
