Some years ago, the Society of Jesus received the Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs) from Pope Francis. We are now in the second phase of their implementation. Focusing on the fourth UAP - to collaborate in the care of our common home - the Secretariat for Social Justice and Ecology (SJES) was charged with conducting a universal survey, the results of which highlight both our progress and the challenges ahead. On the day we celebrate World Earth Day, Father General Arturo Sosa wrote to the apostolic body presenting the survey results, inviting everyone to strengthen our faith commitment to care for the integrity of creation and build a more just and sustainable future.

JCAP's Migrants and Refugees Network (MRN) recently met in Seoul and spent a day visiting the center, where they interacted with migrant workers and their families during the celebration of Sunday Mass and bonded over a specially prepared meal. They also visited the shelter, where male migrant workers live as they get back on their feet. Keeping in mind the theme of hospitality and reconciliation, the members of MRN continue to work towards building a future with migrants and refugees.
