These religious leaders through their functions help the village community be reconciled with God the creator, ancestors and other minor spirits. This brings about peace and harmony in the village community in its temporal as well as spiritual affairs.

The Rarámuri people seek, through their religious life, to recover the original harmony of creation and cooperate with God against the evil that destroys fraternity.

To me the Aunties are reconciliation in action, they know what their community needs and it is healing. Healing comes as part of the reconciliation process which is two-way.

This pervasive Great Holiness (Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka) and blessing invites us to see our relationship with all created being and to recognize and know our brotherhood and sisterhood, not just with our human brothers and sisters but with all that exists and whose aura of holiness blesses us each and every day.

The Jesuit Conference Office of Justice and Ecology and Ignatian Solidarity Network are asking the USA Senate to pass the Break Free from Plastics Pollution Act. This legislation will curb plastic pollutants throughout the supply chain and will build healthier communities and cleaner environments.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training collaborated with the Vietnamese Jesuit Province to organize an environmental tour for social work students, focusing on waste classification and treatment processes. This initiative led to the development of a waste classification program at their school, and they plan to support families in implementing waste classification practices.

The International Federation of Fe y Alegría held its first Board of Directors meeting in Africa. The meeting facilitated a cultural exchange of experiences, deepened understanding of the African reality, and reaffirmed the relevance of Fe y Alegría as a robust Popular Education Movement in a context marked by poverty and lack of opportunities.
