Global – Meeting of social delegates and leaders of the global advocacy networks
Following a call of the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat, social delegates and leaders of the global advocacy networks met in Rome from May 13th to 17th. During the meeting, situation, challenges and opportunities of social apostolate in each conference were shared, the situation of each network –Ecology, Right to Education, Migrations and Justice in Mining (Extractive Industries)– was presented and the conference to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat, which will take place next November in Rom, was planned. The meeting concluded with a Eucharistic celebration in the church of the Gesú.

The General Assembly is the highest governing body of the Federation of Fe y Alegria Movement. It comprises 22 member countries, the General Coordination, and the Presidents of the Conferences of Jesuit Provincials of Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe. To enrich the Movement's sustainability, the General Assembly provided input and recommendations to the executive team.

On 18 October 2023, Fe y Alegría in Ecuador held the opening event to mark 60 years of service to education. More than 700 people from different parts of the country gathered to commemorate the important date.
