Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
During Christmas and New Year, when many people are suffering from hunger, cold, loneliness, and despair, and when many hearts have been hardened by hatred, violence, selfishness, and apathy, there is a greater need than ever to welcome a Savior: the Messiah, the Lord.
May every act of solidarity, reconciliation, and peace help us find paths to liberation. May we open our minds and hearts to welcome the One who comes with the strength of the weak and the power of the little ones, and—with everyone—build a new world.

From 19 to 23 May, the European Jesuit Social Delegates Network gathered in Barcelona for its annual in-person meeting.
