More than 78,000 girls, boys and adolescents from Fe y Alegría demand climate justice at COP30

The Letters to Earth campaign, promoted by Fe y Alegría International through its Comprehensive Ecology Initiative, has mobilized thousands of children and adolescents in 11 countries in the same cry: climate justice as an inescapable ethical and political imperative.

More than 78,000 letters and drawings have been created, expressing pain and hope from the concrete experience of childhood and youth. 2,400 of them have already been shared on the campaign page, showing the diversity of languages, cultures and territories that, despite their differences, converge in the same demand: listen to the cry of the Earth and respond decisively.

This initiative is part of the participation of Fe y Alegría in the international campaign Jesuits for Climate Justice: Faith in Action at COP30, which will take place in November 2025 in Belém, Brazil. There, the voices of our childhood will reach negotiators and authorities, reminding them that COP30 is not only a technical space or a political procedure, but a historical moment to defend human dignity, the life of the planet and the common future of humanity.
