Latin America – Jesuit Migrant Network: Visual summary of the Assembly
The Jesuit Network with Migrants gathered from 7-11 November. It was their first in-person Continental Assembly after almost three years. The network of about 90 people from the Americas and other territories met in Bogotá, Colombia. They deliberated how to strengthen best their inter-sectoral response to a continent wounded by persistent violence. The violence has created the greatest number of forcibly displaced people recorded in decades. Also, they discussed how to take advantage of the wealth of learning opportunities that forced migration brings.
These were intense days full of generosity. Now we will begin to count the results of this Assembly. First, we offer a visual tour of what happened in Bogotá.
