Latin America – Book Presentation: “Fundamental Texts of the Social Apostolate”
The Conference of Jesuit Provincials of Latin America and the Caribbean - CPAL will present the book "Fundamental Texts of the Social Apostolate".
The presentation of the text will have as speakers the four persons responsible for the themes worked on in the text, which will be presented at the event:
I. Generosity and effectiveness: Fr. Roberto Jaramillo, SJ - President of the CPAL.
II. Mission, justice and reconciliation in Latin America - Fr. Atilano González, SJ - Social Delegate of the Society of Jesus in Mexico.
III. Brief history of the Social-Environmental Apostolate in Latin America - José Ivo Follman, SJ - Secretary for Socio-environmental Justice of the Society of Jesus in Brazil.
IV. Framework of Orientation for the study and work in Integral Ecology: Luiz Felipe Lacerda - Executive Secretary of the National Observatory of Socio-Environmental Justice Luciano Mendes de Almeida (Olma).

His journey was marked by a profound sense of detachment, as he left behind his nationality, culture, security, history, and companions to embrace a completely foreign environment.
