Global – Jesuit support to the Ukraine crisis: Two Year’s Annual Report
It is now two years since the international armed conflict in Ukraine began. “Millions have been forced to flee their homes, and millions more remain displaced or in need in Ukraine”. JRS has just released the two-year Annual Report of One Proposal.
It’s the coordinated global response of the Society of Jesus through his social institutions. The response structure is based on five pillars: welcome, protect, promote, integrate, and institutional strengthening. In addition to the number of beneficiaries, the report presents the countries involved, an overview of activities and the distribution of funds. A list of stories accompanies the text to show the impact of the projects carried out in the lives of people affected by this tragedy.

The Migrants and Refugees Network in Asia Pacific gathered to address migrant and refugee challenges, guided by collaboration, prayer, and Ignatian spirituality principles. Discussions ranged from updates on regional migrant situations to Taiwan's progressive immigrant response, culminating in the finalization of a five-year action plan highlighting the network's dual mission of support for both migrants and its members.
This first publication of 2024 provides an overview of the latest data, changes and trends in the context of most of the region's countries (Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, the United States and Canada).
