From June 3 to 6, the Assembly of the Social Centers Network of the Conference of Jesuit Provincials of Latin America and the Caribbean (CPAL) is held in the city of Puente Grande (Guadalajara – Mexico). the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Secretariat for Social Justice and Ecology.
The Reflection Team on Indigenous Cultures and Religions of Latin America (ERCRILA) and the Jesuit Migrant Network (RJM) will also be present at this meeting. Together they will discuss issues such as the reality of Latin America and the Caribbean, the analysis of the conjuncture and trends, with the purpose of adequately addressing the challenges and needs to which we are called to act.
Fr. Mario Serrano SJ, Delegate for the Mission of CPAL, emphasized that experiences will also be shared, through the presentation of reports, since they seek to identify common horizons. “We want to nurture our spirituality and mysticism in what we do from the Social Centers Network of the CPAL … Deepen the common discernment, look, reflect and project the work of articulation with the Networks, Projects and Strategic Allies of the Network of Social Centers, in order to promote greater coordination and collaboration, “he said.
