Colombia – Various religions unite for the Amazon

Religions, spiritualities and faiths/beliefs of Colombia sign the first alliance between religions of the world to protect tropical forests from deforestation. Javeriana University hosted this important meeting on the Amazon. Report of the newspaper El Espectador. During the last three days, Javeriana University has paraded mamos from the Sierra Nevada with their backpacks, indigenous kamsá ladies with their traditional cousma, men with kippah (the traditional Jewish hat) and Orthodox men with kamelaukion.
