A number of Jesuits are working hard to help flood victims in Pakistan. Fr Imran Ghouri SJ writes: “Our focus is to handle as many of the children as we can. The kids are suffering so badly and you can’t stop your tears when a child tells you ‘my siblings and parents have died in this water. Why did this water kill my people?’ What a painful experience for these unlucky ones. […] In Lahore diocese I am trying to form a group of religious men/women to work together for the flood victims. We will have a meeting on 20 August at Loyola Hall, in Lahore.”
