Service Yezu Mwiza (SYM), a Jesuit programme for AIDS care and HIV prevention, has inaugurated a small clinic on 12 June. The clinic was named after Fr Martin Royackers SJ, a Canadian Jesuit murdered in Jamaica in 2001. Fr Martin’s mother and sister came to Burundi, accompanied by Jenny Cafiso from Canadian Jesuits International who facilitated the visit.
