On the occasion of the World Social Forum (WSF) in Belém do Pará (north of Brazil) from 27 January and 1 February 2009, the Amazon Region of the Society is holding a pre-forum in Belém do Pará. Between 24 and 27 January, Jesuits and their collaborators as well as other religious orders or groups interested in the topic are going to talk about Religious Faith(s) and the Defence of Life, specifically in the Amazon region.
