After Typhoon Frank (Fengshen) hit the Philippines on 21 and 22 June, the relief efforts of the Jesuits have been aimed especially at the province of Iloilo. Fr. Manny Uy, Vice Superior and Director of the Jesuit works in Iloilo, pleads: “We are in need of food, especially canned goods, clothing, and water.” Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan and Ateneo de Manila University are collecting donations in kind and money.
