The New Orleans Province and Loyola University have recently established a “Jesuit Social Research Institute” that will offer participatory research, social analysis and theological reflection. It will also devise and implement practical strategies for improving the social and economic conditions in the southern United States and in select Caribbean and Latin American countries.
