On 8 August, the Social Apostolate Commission of the Zimbabwe Province held an Ignatian seminar at Arrupe College, Harare. The seminar was the first ever in the province for those in the social apostolate. Thirty participants from 13 different social institutions and organisations owned by, or associated with, the Jesuits attended the seminar. The day was spent in sharing and reflecting on Ignatian spirituality (specifically its charism and heritage) and how that relates to the work or ministry. The seminar was also an opportunity for Jesuits and lay collaborators to share the different challenges and opportunities they face as partners in ministry.
