A new coordinator for the Social Apostolate in Latin America has been nominated by the President of the Conference of Jesuit Provincials of Latin America (CPAL). Fr Alfredo Ferro from Colombia will start his three-year tenure on 10 March 2008, replacing Fr Jorge Julio Mejía who is moving on after four years as coordinator.
