26 November: 30 Catholic organisations in England and Wales launched the LiveSimply project. Inspired by Pope Paul VI?s encyclical Populorum Progressio (On the progress of peoples) and the successful MakePovertyHistory campaign of 2005, this new year-long campaign encourages people to live simply, sustainably and in solidarity with the poor.
