Elias Omondi SJ of Nairobi-based Jesuit Hakimani Centre has recently published a book titled Making Choices for Peace: Aid Agencies in Field Diplomacy, which discusses the role that NGOs can play in bringing peace to conflict situations. It seeks to bridge gaps between aid delivery, peace building, and psychosocial and spiritual responses to personnel management in conflict settings. The book includes interviews with Gustavo Gutierrez, Hizias Asefa, John Paul Lederach and John Prendergast.
